"Less is More on Manning"
Manning Street: short but stylish. Home to the Australian Institute of Architects, it's also home to ultra-popular cafe, Toby's, and design boutique Becker&Minty. But my pick is "Macleay on Manning" an uber-chic decorator's delight. Stocking exquisite collections of objects, both decorative and minimalist, the window palette barely extends beyond black and silver. Yet, it remains so rich with creativity, proving the phrase "Less is More". Coined by modernist architect Mies Van Der Rohe, it expresses the notion that simplicity = good design.
