Kellett St, Potts Point, NSW 2011

This street used to have a bit of a dodgy reputation but is rapidly gentrifying. As a result, it's still affordable if you get in now. In it, and especially at the far end (away from Bayswater Rd) there are lovely Art Deco buildings, some lovely new bars and restaurants, and many bright sunny flats that are way more spacious and much nicer than you'd get for the same price on Macleay or Challis Streets. Here, you're easily within walking distance of everything - train is three mins away, Darlinghurst Medical centre (bulkbilled and open long hours including weekends) is a five min walk, and if its a nice day you can walk into the city (20-30 mins, with a detour through the Domain and/or Botanic Gardens!) There are tons of eating/drinking/playing options all around the area and you can walk down to the harbour. What's not to like?!
