Gosnells

"Crime on the rise"

A suburban town south of the river, about 20 - 30 mins drive from perth. Gosnells has plenty of affordable properties still available, making it apealing for first home buyers and investors. However there is also a huge rental market. I found there where some worries, the crime rate has been rising fairly rapidly. In my time living in Gosnells my neighbours had both vehicle theft and a home invasion, there where many a domestic dispute in this street with many of them being brought on the road for everyone to see, multiple home burglaries - the icing on the cake though was when someone set a car on fire outside my bedroom window. The public transport is reasonable, it is frequent and there are transit guards at the stations so they are reasonably safe. This is a good town with everything there inc shops, schools, child care etc. If you want to live somewhere peaceful though and can afford it, look elsewhere!
