The Bay changes for it is not one single bay but a string of little inlets each with their own special characteristics. Unsealed roads make it slow but there is also has a 40klm limit through the Hamlet.

Abels Bay is one of those hidden gems that are ‘discovered’. Water is around every corner with the Salmon fisheries a little off shore. At night the ‘hoppers’ come out to play and eat and if walking takes your fancy, every season will deliver new flora much of which is unique.

If you want to retire to a place where your family will constantly want to visit, Abels Bay should be on your shopping list, but be warned, opportunities are rare.
