Randalls Bay is a 15 minute drive from Cygnet, a quiet country town. Cygnet has many facilities including: a post office, doctors surgery, grocery stores, butchers shops, a clothing store, several eating places,a chemist, service stations, a yacht club, bowling green , tennis club, parks and walking tracks, two schools a primary and a district high school, child care facilities.

At Randalls Bay there is a bush walking track that leads to Mickeys beach. Randalls Bay is a beautiful beach at which people boat, swim and fish ( sometimes successfully). Crayfish, abalone and atlantic salmon are the delicacies that can be enjoyed in season by diving in the surounding waters ( licences are a must).
A school bus passes through Randalls Bay morning and afternoon taking children to and from school. No other public transport is available. It would be difficult to live in Randalls Bay without your own private transport.
It is a safe place to raise children, but few families with children presently live here.
Randalls Bay is a very quiet location with only a few houses in Williams Road and Randalls Bay Road.
A couple of klm along the road is Egg and Bacon Bay a fairly condensed small community.

The Bay changes for it is not one single bay but a string of little inlets each with their own special characteristics. Unsealed roads make it slow but there is also has a 40klm limit through the Hamlet.

Abels Bay is one of those hidden gems that are ‘discovered’. Water is around every corner with the Salmon fisheries a little off shore. At night the ‘hoppers’ come out to play and eat and if walking takes your fancy, every season will deliver new flora much of which is unique.

If you want to retire to a place where your family will constantly want to visit, Abels Bay should be on your shopping list, but be warned, opportunities are rare.
