Have lived in Manoora for about 3 years and honestly would not want to live anywhere else in Cairns. Shopping Centre is 2 mins away, the city is 10 minutes and it's only 15 minutes to the Northern Beaches. Great access to schools and medical facilities. Rents and house prices are very reasonable two which makes it an excellent place to live. Most of the residents are working class people. I am really good friends with all my neighbours and there is a real friendly, "looking out for each other" spirit in the community. Anybody who knocks the "M's" are more than likely hoighty-toighty Northern Beaches types who would rather drive 30 minutes to the city and live in houses with 10 foot high fences so they never have to socialise with their neighbours
