Colyton

"Cost saver"

I have lived in Colyton since 99. It's a great area overall. Family orientated and people are friendly, great for sports, schools are close, shops are close in every direction and same with public transport. Close to M4 or M7 plus there's alot of infrastructure and employment You dont need to go far to get virtually anything you need and general living cost in the area is cheaper. I have saved at least 20k in the time I have lived here in comparison to somebody that lives in St Ives. I am a grown man and i feel safe anytime or day walking the streets. I hardly lock my house and car and have never experienced theft. I have lived in Baulkham Hills and Parramatta and i find Colyton more safer going on my own personal life experiences. Yes bad things have happened in Colyton but they happen in every suburb in Sydney. Drug uses in every suburb in Sydney and if you think Colyton has more drugs, uses and dealers compared to ex Inner city, Eastern suburbs, Northern Suburbs your a fool. I have read other peoples comments and you all have the wrong perception of Mt Druitt. Its the far back suburbs of Mt Druitt which is struggle street which is actually closer to newer estates like Plumpton or Ropes Crossing or even suburbs on Richmond road and is all apart of the Blacktown Council where Colyton is apart of Penrith Valley Council. I accept peoples opinions and there experience but we all see and accept social living standards and behaviours different. The stats will be correct from real people living in area for a substantial amount of time and would be more of a correct description. It's all about standard of living. If you like living the Bondi life with glitz n money, gourmet side walk metro cafes with rich people and pricey scarfs around there necks well Colyton is not for you but if you live and can live in Colyton you could live anywhere just about.
