"A good place to retire"
It is beautiful. But not a great place to raise a family. It is limited and expensive. Probably more a place for older retirees.

"A little far out of town"
For me it is too far out of town and heads into boring suburbia territory.

"leafy quiet suburb close to town."
Manoora has gentrified a bit in the past 10 years. Proximity to the center of town and lower prices have made it a magnet for people from down south which has changed the dynamics of the area.
