"Surrey Hills old world elegance close to everything"

Love Surrey Hills it is a mix of beautiful old California 1950's residences, modern French and Georgian. Tough to find a home at times as tightly held Surrey Hills is great for access to schools, a mix of good public and private schools. I do recommend Our Lady of Perpetual Succour for primary school, Sion is also a great private school but you can find many options. Camberwell Junction shops are a 5 minute drive, you also have access to the fantastic Maling Rd district with great cafes and local essentials. Transport is also fantastic with the 70 tram taking you all the way to the city, you also have multiple train stations with Union being the best and of the course the Union Road shops. (a fantastic Coles local).

Miller Street

"Apartment living close to Sydney Harbour"

Lived on Miller Street for about 12 months in an apartment. Loved the fact each night that I could walk down through Kiribilli to Luna Park and around Lavender Bay. What an amazing view, world class.

Miller Street is perfect for those that want to be close to Sydney CBD but that dont want to pay top rental prices. It is also much quieter than one would expect, ok, traffic is to be expected being a major city but at night once peak hour is over the street is very quiet.

There are lots of great dining options, my favourites include L'Incontro Italian Restaurant and also Armstrongs Steakhouse. Also used to love having a beer at Rags & Famish or the amzing Greenwood Hotel, an old church now converted into a nightclub!

It's definitely a location that is perfect for young professsionals.

Serpells Road

"RIght in the heart of Templestowe's golden mile"

Serpells Road is famous for it's large acre blocks with multi-million dollar homes. Having lived in the area for a long time it really is the place to be with land now exceeding $1 million per block.

As is typical of large acre blocks, neighborly spirit is not the best, in fact most of us don't see our neighbors. Not that we wouldnt like to, just that the blocks are so far apart and most people seem to be so busy.

Buses run down Serpells Road so public transport is not a problem, an Ruffy Park is walking distance providing a great place to walk the dog.

Not cheap, but if you can afford it provides a much better lifestyle alternative to some of the more up market options in Toorak and Canterbury.
