"A good place to start for a first home buyer"
I moved into Armadale in April 2011, and as a first home buyer it was something that I could afford. I live in a good part of armadale, and it is reasonably quite and it is fairly safe where I live. Close to the train, and shops... with 7 day a week trading! Good place to start out... shame the property prices don't increase that much! Eating out is average in the area, not many places to go that are decent enough.... And there are issues with anti social behaviour and the local parks are nothing to write home about
Great for
- Cheap houses
- Transport
- 7 day trading
- Good block size
Not great for
- The name
- Older area
- Distance from city
- Bad food

"Nice street in a good part of Armadale, very quite"
I brought a house in Lowanna Way and so far it has been good! Have had no issues or dramas, and I like the location to the train (about a 10 min walk) and the shops (a 10 minute drive)... this is a very good place to start as a first home buyer! This street has lots of trees and plants, and is green... you get the odd car hooning down the road, and some anti social behaviour.
Great for
- Location to the train
- Quite
- Well kept
Not great for
- Street lighting (will be improved)
- Poor parks
- Hoons
