Killarney Heights

"A hidden gem, flanked by National Park and Middle Harbour"

Lush, green, tranquil. Living in KH is like having a holiday home, yet in the city. You can indulge in your favourite holiday activities by just walking out of your front door at the weekend - bush walking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking. Getting to work in the city is easy via a direct bus in the morning and simply changing at Chatswood in the evening. Killarney Heights shops could do with a bit more variety - a convenience store or deli would be a great. Also the cafe is not open on Sundays. But all with time! I am sure it will become a cosmopolitan hub and a great place to meet and chat over the papers and coffee. Forestville shops are a matter of minutes drive away where you can pick up all the groceries you need. 15 minutes drive to the city and 10 minutes to the Northern beaches make KH very convenient (and you don't have to fight with Military Rd or Spit bridge). House prices seem very competitive for the moment - but it won't last as the area is being flooded by young families/professional couples who want a fantastic lifestyle without sacrifice.
