Killarney Heights

"Best kept secret in Sydney"

We live on a peninsula on Sydney's Middle Harbour, across from Seaforth and CastleCove, but most Sydneysiders have never heard of this place, and have never visited. It's a short commute (25 minutes by private bus in peak hour) to the CBD and you can drive to Chatswood or the Northern Beaches (Dee Why, Manly) in about 15 - 20 minutes. The schools are top-rated, with a French/English curriculum and a very diverse group including lots of Australian, European and Asian families. The whole suburb is surrounded by Garigal National Park and is very green and leafy. Many of the people who built the houses here in the 1960's still live here, but are just starting to move on, so there are lots of opportunities to grab "entry level" houses for under $1,000,000.
