Lantana Lane

"The best of both worlds."

Lantana Lane is a quiet and quaint culdesac....and it enjoys 180 degree views to the ocean. You enter the narrow lane which soon splits into a high-road/low-road configuration. On-road parking bays built by Council are useful due to the narrow footpaths, and are situated in a few places along the lane to make visitor parking easier. This quiet friendly culdesac is 5 minutes' walking distance to the village with heritage tavern, medical centre, physio, gym, library and chemist, bowls club, local bus stop, bakery, coffee and antique shops, primary school, restaurants and connecting roads to Montville (7 minutes)as well as to Nambour (12 minutes) and only 30 minutes to Maroochydore.

Great for

  • 180 degree views to the Sunshine Coast
  • Birdlife and green surroundings
  • Close to village, connecting roads, schools and all services

Not great for

  • Narrow lane with limited parking

"A beautiful place to live, witha very friendly village atmosphere"

I moved here from Sydney over a year ago and have met lots of the very friendly and welcoming locals. Plenty of choices for eating out, plus a local IGA and BP for fuel/groceries, and lots of choices for bushwalks. The closeness to tourist spots of Montville and Maleny and national parks make this a real hidden gem of the hinterland. The views to the Sunshine Coast are amazing, and it's a safe, quiet and green place to live. Birdlife is prolific, and plants grow easily whether you are green-thumbed or not!

Great for

  • Close to Montville and Maleny shopping and restaurants
  • 12 minutes to Nambour Hospital and services
  • 30 minutes to Maroochydore
