As per previous post, avoid this place. Whilst it looks beautiful on the surface, scratch beneath the surface and you will find a coastal town in rapid decline. Drugs and homelessness becoming a huge problem n the bay, and the lack of investment in the town means that it is becoming more and more run down and desperate. The local school is a very dangerous place

Bought an holiday home here a few years ago around the time of the pandemic. Big mistake. Must be the only place in Australia where property values are falling rapidly. Think it is to do with the lack of proper investment in the area and unfriendly bigoted locals who treat anyone who wasn't born there like they have the plague
