Just moved into Somerville and have no regrets. Have been researching this lovely little town for months, and have inspected many houses before I bought our new home here. There are lots of courts and green grass corridoors webbing a number of reserves and dog walks for easy walking. Some pretty spots such as Unthanks reserve and the two in Black Camps Rd near Somerville Heights Primary school. After extensive researching and visiting surrounding towns and villages such as Hastings , Pearcedale, Baxter, Bittern, Frankston South, Crib Point, Cranbourne and langwarrin, I can't understand why Somerville is ranking 277th. I have moved from Phillip Island and with everything on your doorstep in Somerville, eg. Shops, Drs, vets, transport and easy access to major and private hospitals thats why I think that Somerville is a perfect place to spend my retirement. And last of all but not least, I find the people friendly and helpful.
