Salisbury

"Untouched serenity..."

Having moved to Brisbane from Melbourne a year ago, I really wasnt too familiar with the suburbs at all. Living in the Valley for a year was definitely an experience, but my partner and I decided to move to somewhere a little more open.

We were looking at areas around Mt Gravatt, we fell in love with the area, until one day we accidentally stumbled upon Salisbury. We instantly enjoyed the feel of Salisbury a lot more than the Gravatt area, as (in our opinion), it's far more green and open, and most houses in the area are absolutely surrounded in forest area.

It IS industrial, but we've had tips from developers and architects in the area that these areas are diminishing and should be replaced by residential.

Overall if you're after an open quiet hidden environment, with heaps of green, Salisbury is for you!
