"Extremely family-friendly and convenient!"

Vale Park is peaceful and quiet, with everything you could want within a short walk or drive away.

We're seeing more new builds developing in the area, which is providing a great opportunity to move into the area.

If you're into sports or outdoor activities - there is so much on offer for the whole family. From ovals, and tennis courts to sporting clubs - there is plenty to do outside of the house.

Vale Park adjoins Walkerville and also connects with the River Torrens, making it moments away from the well-known Linear Park walking trail.

Loads of schooling and childcare options are in the area, whether you're after private or public - a lot of options to choose from.

Walkerville Terrace is a short drive away offering supermarket, fruit and veg, cafes, restaurants etc.

With only a 15-minute drive to the Adelaide CBD, Vale Park is extremely convenient.

"Beautiful streets 5km from city - affordable large houses without the pretentiousness"

Having grown up here, and now live in the neighbouring suburb. Vale Park used to be very cheap but has grown in prices tremendously and now becoming quickly one of Adelaide prestigious suburbs. Beautiful streets with trees and gardens well maintained. Beautiful multicultural crowd of neighbours, open parks with linear park running through. Close access to shops on NE road or Marden shopping centre, or Walkerville tce cafes and shops. Highly recommend for families who want to live close to the city without paying the prices of Walkerville, St Peters of other inner city suburbs.

"A quiet and tranquil suburb"

Vale Park is a very quiet, neat little nook just above the Torrens and east of the city. Perfect for Middle Aged families with children and seniors, who used to make up most of its population but now their houses are being torn down and replaced with ugly townhouses. Save the beautiful old historical Vale Park!

"Vale Park, Home Sweet Home!"

Vale Park is one of my favorite suburbs in Adelaide. There are well-kept houses in the area. There are lovely old bungalows now replaced with the new courtyards and more expensive larger homes.

The neighbourhood is know to its friendly neighbours and the River Torrens.

Getting into the city isn't too difficult, with it only 10 minutes to the city!

Everything is great about Vale Park!

Rentals in Vale Park

"A quiet suburb on the edge of the Torrens and close to the city"

This quiet residential suburb has everything you need all within a short walk or drive away.
Nestled in behind Walkerville and nudging the River Torrens, Vale Park is a great location for a relaxed lifestyle just moments from the city.

Connecting to your work in the CBD is easy. It is just a short drive (about 15 minutes), or there is convenient public transport with frequent buses on Walkerville Terrace.

There are a number of sporting options nearby, including a large oval and tennis courts, not to mention the long walking trails around the River Torrens.

This is a great spot for raising a family. Schools nearby include St Andrews (a private primary school), Walkerville Primary, Wilderness (a private girl's school) and St Peter's College (a private boy's school).

There are a number of shopping options in the surrounding suburbs, such as the large Avenues complex in Magill just a short drive away. There is also a huge new complex currently under construction in Walkerville (to be completed in 2011), which will be very convenient as it is only a 5 min stroll away.

If you're looking for a bite to eat or night out, you'll need to look to the nearby suburb of North Adelaide (with a large selection of bars, cafés, restaurants and pubs) or Rundle Street in the East End of Adelaide.
