How is the traffic in and out of Viewbank?

Hi all, I work in the airport (tullamarine) and having the thought of moving in Viewbank for kids. Many reviews said the traffic in Viewbank is horrible. Wonder is it true? Also, given the increase of population statewide, does it apply to Viewbank only or whole Melbourne in general? Thanks.
