"voted best beach in Australia and rates on a world scale"
One of the best beaches Adelaide has to offer. The town itself is small with a number of smaller houses and B&B’s hidden amongst the scrub.
There is a good chance you’ll see a bit of native wildlife around here. We saw a number of wallabies while staying on our honeymoon.
One of the nicest spots on the island, however, it is a long way from any significant shops. The shop at Vivonne bay is small and if you blinked you’d miss it on the main road. It has the bare essentials but for most things you’ll need to trek back across the island to Kingscote or Penneshaw.
A great spot for retirees or writers that want the peace and quiet.
