Reviews of Waghorn Street, Woodend

"Great inner city location with beautiful historical homes"

Waghorn street is one of Woodend's more popular streets, providing residents with quick and easy access to the Ipswich CBD, it is a street surrounded by beautifully established colonial homes dating back to the early century. Geographically, the street is the opposite side of the city to one of the other most significant areas, Denmark Hill. Waghorn street however features geographical similarities to that of Brisbane's inner city suburb of Paddington. Woodend however is renowned by locals as the private school precinct acclaimed nationally for the caliber of it's private schooling within the area. Schools such as Ipswich Boys Grammar are adjacent sharing boundaries with Waghorn and Woodend Rd. In recent years the Ipswich city council has injected vast amounts of money into the CBD, having plans already underway to redevelop the city heart.Properties located in such areas as this are likely to be in high demand as the CBD workforce populates the city fringes.
