Reviews of Wareemba, NSW

"Quiet waterside village located conveniently"

The only downside is the lack of transport options, which chiefly depends on bus or ferry, the latter of which is generally not particularly reliable. However, you do have an abundance of amenities in nearby suburbs such as Drummoyne and Five Dock, with a greater scope of dining, shopping and employment options. Like all suburbs in the Canada Bay LGA, this suburb is very safe indeed, and in spite of being practically the smallest suburb in Greater Sydney, there is a mounting surge of possibilities to explore. The education sector here is heavily underrepresented, because there are an array of decent public schools in the local region, and a significant chunk in the inner west in suburbs such as Burwood, Strathfield and Summer Hill. These suburbs, in spite of having some top notch education facilities, are not comparable to Wareemba, as they lack a number of the intricacies emerging in the aforementioned traits.

"Wareemba - Definitely a Suburb to Discover!"

Even though it may be one of the smallest suburbs in the area, there is a lot to be said for Wareemba. Tucked inbetween Abbotsford and Five Dock, and only a stone's throw away from Drummoyne, Wareemba still holds its own!

Boasting cafes such as Trovatino Cafe, Dolcetti Pasticceria and Hopscotch, you will be spoilt for choice when looking for a good morning coffee! It's worth noting that Trovatino Cafe's spread of 20+ flavours of homemade gelato, is also something quite magnificent!

After enjoying your coffee in the sun, only a stroll down the hill finds you at the very peaceful Hen and Chicken Bay and Halliday Park - a beautiful setting for a relaxing afternoon.

Wareemba is also fairly well linked to the rest of Sydney, with various bus routes and the Abbotsford ferry wharf close by.

"The Inner West's Best Hidden Gem"

Wareemba is a little known Inner West suburb located in one of the most obvious places possible! You've probably driven down Great North Road from Five Dock to Abbotsford and not even been aware that right in the middle of the two suburbs is this funky little village.

Where to go?

Trovatino Cafe - great food, great coffee and the best way to mingle with the locals!
Dolcetti - A quaint little patisserie and a great place to indulge that sweet tooth! My personal favourite - the fresh ricotta pies are a must to try!
Cello Hairdressers - Talented, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Pamper yourself at Cello!
Take a walk along Hen & Chicken Bay

"Little known piece of Paradise..."

The quiet neighbour to Abbotsford - this suburb needs more recognition. Or perhaps that's the way the locals like it. Take the time to visit this area and experience the community spirit, the boutique lifestyle and the affordable real estate.

A great lifestyle area!
