Social and safety for 9yr old girl moving to Kimberley

Hi!
I'm a single Mum moving to remote Kimberley to teach. My daughter will be 9. Is there anywhere that you wouldn't recommend going? I have grown up in remote indigenous communities so not a problem for me personally where we are. We haven't been stationed yet, but I am worried about how she might adjust and if she will be given a hard time at school so trying to get a good read on the areas before I accept a placement. We will be looking for a new-ish house with good security and hopefully a pool as we are both swimmers. However, having said that, I don't mind how remote the community is, just safety both socially for my daughter, and our home we will be going to retreat to at the end of each day are quite important.
