Reviews of Warners Bay, NSW

"Not a bad little slice of Australia..."

Lived here most of my life and is a great place for families and the elderly alike. Close to all your shopping needs and a quick 20 minutes into the City. Plenty of Restaurants and Cafes. A good walking path that goes around the edge of Lake Macquarie with parks spotted along the way. Would highly recommend it to anyone relocating.

"Beautiful Suburb"

Growing up in Warners Bay helped me see its beauty before it was the place to be! Being so close to the lake is amazing!
Now with the suburb growing there is an abundance of cafe's & boutique stores to keep you entertained all day long
There are a couple of great schools for your children and plenty of parks and ovals for them to play at!

"Great place, especially when your are on or near the lake"

great place. I honestly prefer speers point but both places are fantastic. The further away from the lake you get the worse it gets. Some of the places 1-2km away from the lake are not great and getting old. No nightlife or much entertainment. There was good friday night music on the water but im not sure if they do it anymore. The good thing is that those things dont matter, because it is only a 15 minute drive anywhere. into newcaslte,15-20 mins. charlestown,10 mins. if you get bored just get in your car for 10 mins

Great for

  • Beautiful lake
  • Nice cafes
  • Diverse age of people and close to everywhere

Not great for

  • Lack of racial diversity
  • Can get boring when in need of a nightlife etc
  • Alot of "cool" teenagers( but they are not much trouble)

"It's Best By The Bay"

When I’m not working as a real estate agent for CENTURY 21 Stals & Kirk in Valentine, I like to work on my car, take leisurely rides on my bike and socialise with friends.

Living in the heart of Warners Bay means that I can do just that. I love that I can walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs and the lake is within walking distance as well. There is a fantastic community feel in Warners Bay which only adds to its appeal.
