Is warwick a good place to live? Is it multicultural? Is it a safe place?

I'm looking at buying a home there in the near future, but have never lived so far out b4 (always lived Brisbane & Gold Coast areas). Been a single mum it would be a huge move for me to be so far away from family and friends, so would like to find out as much as possible about the town. We plan to do a few day trips soon to have a little look around, but would love to know what locals think of the place. Also are the schools there good? Are there lot's of activities for children to do (sports etc) Is the town working towards more sustainable living etc? Is there a decent size vegan community at all? And how safe do u feel? Safety is a big thing for us.
