Trying to think of fun places near Wayzata to bring my boys this winter to burn off some energy
I wish there were a community center or something. When I was a kid I spent hours at the Kenwood Rec Center and would love to find something like that for my boys to enjoy. If anyone knows of a place, or knows of more passionate parents that would like to combine efforts to make something like this happen, please let me know.

Take them to Baker Park for some xcountry skiing or snow shoeing. Varying terrain will keep them busy while having lots of fun. Or check out Lake Minnetonka for some ice fishing.
