Reviews of Wentworth, NSW
"Paradise where 2 rivers meet"
Wentworth is a great place to live for both young and old. It is nestled nicely at the junction of both the Murray and Darling Rivers surrounded by bushland. I have lived here for 6 months and wake most mornings to the sound of cockatoos or kookaburras and breathe in the fresh country air. 20 minutes drive away is Mildura which boasts everything you could wish for in terms of resteraunts, shopping, nightlife, private schools, wineries, a state of the art hospital and an airport with daily flights to Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Wentworth is also serviced by a reliable bus service to Mildura.
Wentworth boasts a great club, several pubs and cafe's and a fully stocked supermarket. The people are friendly and very proud of their town. Wentworth is a tranquil place, with beautiful natural surroundings within easy reach. The weather is great (more sunny days than Queensland), the nights boast stary skies, the fishing is excellent. What more could you ask for?
