How bad is this area in Hayward? Maybe moving into Bedford Plaza apartments.

It is a so-so area. In the last six months there has not been any murders in the area, but there have been about a dozen assaults and a half dozen robberies. That's not too bad for a lot of cities--certainly better than Oakland. Good luck.

The Bedford Plaza is not in the Burbank Neighborhood. the City of Hayward has a good police department and an active neighborhood alert program. I live in the Burbank Neighborhood.
