There aren't a whole lot of parks in Wicker Park for kids. This is a great neighborhood overall, but I'd say it's better for younger professionals who are pre-kids, rather than a family place. Still, Dean Park is okay, though very small.

Dean Playground Park has a pretty nice play area for kids. The West Town neighborhood, which Wicker Park is a part of, also has several larger kids parks including Humboldt Park and Eckhart Park.
