Timewise the quickest access to a ground is probably Cottonwood at Lane Cove which is a fairly direct trip along the M2. Also a reasonably direct trip is along the Old Windsor to Avina Village at Vineyard and there was a ground at Dural which I think is still there. Hope this helps.
