Max is a hard worker and did a fantastic job in getting fantastic results! He really got to understand our needs, ran a fantastic marketing campaign and was incredibly transparent with all communication. Max is our Man and the best in the Oakleigh/Oakleigh South area.

Max has been very pleasant, approachable and knowledgeable. The follow up and successful sale after the auction date was a celebration as the market was certainly on a downturn. Max got us a price that we were very happy with.

"Exceptional agent every time!"

This is the 3rd time I've been a client of Max and no doubts as a vendor selling in a down market with largest decline in nearly 30 years, I have been frustrated at times, especially when no bids in auction in Dec! Max remained calm, understanding and strategic with plenty of tenacity to deliver a positive result. I was particularly impressed with how he refreshed the campaign into private sale and conducted a number of private inspections, one on Christmas day! His hard work finally paid off when I received an offer above current market value just before 2018 came to a close! I cannot thank him enough to stand by me and delivered a great result. When time is tough Max got tougher! I am more than happy to speak to any prospective buyers/vendors about my experiences with Max.

"Professional and trustworthy!"

We recommend Max's personable and honest approach. We sold in a time whereby the housing market took a downturn due to pricing corrections and banking royal commission impact. Max was respectful and considerate (as we have a young family) and with ensuring qualified buyers would come through in any private inspection. He was a peristant negotiator and got us the result in the end.

"Persistant in trying conditions!"

Our/Max's campaign was complicated by the first big downwards correction in the market in some time, and the Banking Royal Commission, which led to a much longer campaign than initially thought. To Max's credit he stuck by us, and us by him (and I reckon he has learnt like most agents that they really have to earn their commission now) to eventually sell our property for a reasonable price given the falling market. There are still plenty of O'Brien (Max) boards going up in Oakleigh South so obviously he is doing something right. Give Max a go...

"Sold quicker than expected"

Max was more than efficient, even though he thought our expectations were too high in the current market he supported our stubborness and did not waiver from our goal. Ferrying prospective buyers to other properties in the area for comparison, bringing them back here with a building inspector and a renovating expert was a brilliant move! We're well impressed that we don't have to go through the expected 6 week campaign and are over the moon we got the price we wanted, well done Max - and thank you!

"An agent of the highest order"

Dealing with Max from the very outset we knew that with Max's enthusiasm we were in good hands. This sale of my 90yr. Old mother's unit was emotionally difficult for her as she lived there for 47 years. Max and his team treated her with the utmost respect and curtosey and made the whole campaign enjoyable for all of us.
