Amenities in Agnes/1770?

Have 2 lots of shops with IGA and Foodworks that have good specials , there is a chemist, bakery, newsagent, butcher, cafes, post office, some clothes shops, video shop etc. There are a number of restaurants in Agnes and 1770 but you would be better to try them out yourselves depending on what sort of food you like. There is Agnes Primary School and soon to be a High School which they have a sign up coming into town that will be open in Jan 2014 everything going well. I will be trying out the gym next week it's in Agnes in Palm Dr, If you are thinking of buying around Captain Creek you would be looking at a 15 to 20m minute drive into town no shops at Captain Creek for major shopping we all mostly go into Bundaberg for a day out and do a big shop there..... so hope this helped!

The above response about covered it but there is no gym in Agnes. The restaurants are expensive for the quality you get - maybe one or two decent places but they were very pricey and nothing to write home about. We ate at home.
