Reviews of Amber Court, Cheltenham
"A good safe family court"
A good, short, court with a range of households from young families to older residents. Most people know each other.
Parks within walking distance are mediocre, with the nearest being one that Council allows dogs to run off-leash around the good play equipment. The park will be redeveloped as part of the construction of housing on the former Nylex site.
Shopping is excellent, near DFO and Southland, as well as Mentone and Cheltenham.
In school zones for the best schools in the area, including OLA, Cheltenham Primary, Kilbreda College, Mentone Girls and Boys Grammars.
Short drive to railway to city, and very short walk to a Smartbus up Warrigal Road to Chadstone, or down Warrigal Road to the beach.
Great for
- Quiet
- About half the houses have been modernised
- Good neighbours
Not great for
- Vehicles from the Church on Harpley St using the court to turn around
