Reviews of Arthur Street, East Toowoomba
Looking for a home in Arthur Street?
"Quiet and in the heart of the city."
Arthur street has always appeared second rated to the best street in Toowoomba, Campbell street. However Arthur street has less traffic and is therefore more quiet and the neighbourly spirit is high. The street scape is lined with many mature trees with plenty of room on the road to park. At one of Arhtur Street you have Queens park the largest park in Toowoomba adjacent to the CBD and on the other end you have the range so it is easy to get out of Toowoomba and head down the range. Woolworths is not far away and there are many of the best schools in Toowoomba close by. Arthur Street's character and convenience speaks for itself.

"Quiet shady street"
Similar to Campbell Street, but quieter. Beautiful avenue of camphor laurel trees. Close to Queens Park(street ends here) and within walking distance of Webb Park. Beautiful heritage houses on large allotments, if you are looking for prestigious living. Grammar, Prep, Fairholme, St Joseph's, Mater Dei and East Toowoomba SS all within walking distance. Centrally located for town and shops. Great place to raise a family.

"Perfect for people who have children in Primary"
Although this area is close to the main area of Toowoomba. Arthur street is not a busy street. It is quiet and safe. Many family's with young children and quiet at night. Many large estates on Arthur street and a nice street to walk up or down. With Queens park at the end of the street and the range at the other it is a nice healthy environment. Like Campbell street it is one of the most prestigous streets in Toowoomba. A street with Character!

"One Of Toowoomba's Top 10 Resale Streets"
Arthur Street has a famous origin. At the 'top' of the street, at the junction of Fernside Street, is the Heritage listed 'Fernside'. A signicant part of the current street was once the private driveway of this superb home that was originally sited on much larger grounds.
The street trees had been planted in species/type order to spell the word 'Fernside'.
Some of Toowoomba's more expensive character homes are in this street especially in the eastern half.
At the western end is a local lawn bowl club, East State School, a football stadium and the famous Botanical Gardens.
It is very well located and keenly sought in real estate terms.
