Ash Grove, Oak Park, VIC 3046

A lovely little street on a hill with fantastic views over the valley and across to Essendon airport. The small planes and airport itself can be quite loud and there's no nighttime curfew, so if plane noise really bothers you then you won't be happy here. Generally quiet, friendly neighbours who usually keep to themselves but will say g'day if they see you. But you will certainly meet their pets! Lots of cats and dogs in this small street, do not move here if you don't like animals. The street itself has little to no traffic most of the time, however it is a bit of a rat-run for cars during peak hours and Saturday morning local sports. Oak Park Primary school is at the top of the street, between 3.10-3.40 each school day the street is packed with parked cars and kids. I spent four years living in a rental here and was very happy, we only left because the owners were reoccupying - we didn't want to leave!
