There are quite a number of leisure places in Ashwood. If you like to kick a ball or two, fly a kite or even take your pet for a walk, there is the Ashwood Reserve, Jingella Reserve, Holmeslgen Reserve, Ashwood Wetlands and Essex Heights Reserve Parks like Batesford Reserve, Chadstone Food Forest and Markham Reserve are great for picnics and kids to run and play. There is a long bike trail on Gardiners Creek Trail that runs through Ashwood. Plenty to explore!
