Honestly, this answer will vary depending on who you ask. As a former undergrad in this community, I know that when I first entered school, we only considered other undergrad schools in the community to be apart of the AUC (specifically Spelman, Morehouse, and Clark). Other people like to say that there are currently only 4 colleges in the Atlanta University Center (AUC). These colleges include, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse School of Medicine. At one time, there were 6 schools total that were considered to be a part of the Atlanta University Center. Morris Brown College was one of those schools, but they lost their accreditation, and technically are no longer considered to be apart of the AUC. Also, the Interdenominational Theological Center is sometimes considered a part of the AUC (depending on who you ask). I am not really 100% sure why some folks leave this institution out of the loop these days. I want to say that maybe it's because it's not an undergraduate institution, but then again, neither is Morehouse School of Medicine.... I know... it's confusing no matter how you slice it.
