"Balaclava Street - Walking distance to the CBD"
Balaclava Street is one of those within a few minutes walk to the CBD and is filled with small character cottages that used to be home to the many railway workers from the Inveresk Railyard. Many of the homes have been renovated over the last five years and to add to the street there is the Inveresk Hotel at one end where some of the best counter meals in Launceston are served.
