What is Sundowner Meander in Banksia Grove like?

Fiance and I are thinking of buying in banksia grove. sundowner meander has many houses for sale and we were wondering if there is a reason for this! Have heard mixed reviews about the suburb. Was told by local real estate that this area is a private estate (around delamare park from tumbleweed st to pinjar rd). Is this true?

Hi there. Sundowner meander is probably nice in some parts as its a very long road that goes around a part of the suburb. However, I know that the part that backs onto pinjar road is mostly quite rough. There are a couple of beautiful looking homes which are then sadly surrounded by some less looked after houses. I've been for a stroll down this street many a time and not felt welcome. Cars are often parked on the road opposite each other, making it difficult to squeeze through and a hazard. I'm not sure about the private estate info but as you leave the suburb via abbey green and nambi there are a few homeswest houses that aren't particularly pretty.
As a suburb I don't think it's that bad, the park is very pleasant to walk through, having tennis courts with a new net, children's play area. And it can be peaceful here and relaxing when you've not got the hoons driving around with their loud exhaust systems. I hope this helped a bit!
