Is North and South Banksia Grove safe?

We are looking at buying in the south side of banksia grove. We've heard it is rough north of Joondalup drive, how is it on the south side away from state housing? We want security and relative peace and quiet (no drunk and disorderly wandering the streets etc)

The area of Banksia grove we are in is fine - delamere park - never seen any drunk/disorderly people - feels safe to walk at night. Cannot comment on the northern section although the the area near ours outside of Delamere park does seem a bit rougher but haven't had any specific negative expereinces.

The new area (north) is great - keep away from the old area. Parks are open and green. No more crime than other areas. Suburb is growing and will get more shops etc in future

No. Keep looking. I have put my comment and rating under Banksia Grove. Try Tapping or Carramar.
