Reviews of Barcom Avenue, Darlinghurst
"Was quiet, now a rodent's paradise"
Barcom Avenue is home to a lot of owner occupiers, which is why the area has been so quiet in the past. However the entrance of certain residents, loud, partying at all hours and days, and drunk displays any time of the day, made the last half of 2010 quite awful for those of us who treasure the quiet and green street. Due to the posh nature of the street, many of us on the street were calling the police in regards to drunken disturbances, like bins being thrown about the street. And criminals pretending to be groundsmen.
Great for
- Green
- Slow traffic - many speed bumps
Not great for
- Drunks at all hours
- Council cleaning around 3+ times a day = noise and a lot of street dust into property.
- No parking for your visitors, in your own street

Great little Avenue, always find a park in my street, almost always in front of my apartment door, beautiful trees line the avenue, so close to CCT and restaurants. Always a friendly smile!
