What is the crime rate in armstrong creek

Fairly low compared to other areas of Geelong.
You have the usual thefts from building sites which is common for developing estates.
There have been incidents of thefts from cars primarily due to people leaving vehicles unlocked with valuables inside.
Apart from that crime is pretty low. It's very safe to walk around both by yourself and with family.
I have lived there for 6 years. Never had a break in, never had anything stolen, never had issues walking around the estate. Don't believe into hype or hysteria you may see on social media, Armstrong Creek is a safe area.
I have always felt safe in this area, the locals are friendly and always up for a chat. Great community who look out for each other.

Hi Rosemaryg1, I've experienced Armstrong Creek throughout its establishment as a Property Manager (and I now live here). When the suburb was mainly construction, theft was an issue as people would take advantage of empty homes and no neighbours.
Now that the area is established, this doesn't occur. I have been here for the last year and haven't heard of any miss-happenings (though no area is without it I presume).
If you wanted extra security there are always options like Arlo or Ring which are wi-fi, video cameras that you can take with you to any property. I have Arlo here but brought that with me from my last property in Hamlyn Heights (which there was far more crime!)
Armstrong Creek is now a preferred area for young families and retirees - with affordable prices, new homes and local ammenities. It's such a "self-contained" area that heading into Geelong isn't necessary most of the time. It's been incredible convenient for me and my family anyway :)
Hope this helps.
