What I love about Bathurst is the diversity of housing. The better houses are about $350,000 to $450,000. I would avoid semi detached as most of these are comestic renos for cashed up out of towners. Also watch out for the strata levies and council charges for Villas - makes your outgoing more than a house. There is a glut of rental properties here. Take your time and take care.
