Reviews of Battye Street, Bruce
"Transformative"
At one end is Radford College, one of Canberra's best schools, and at the other is GIO Stadium, home to the Canberra Raiders and the ACT Brumbies. So, on game day, the four lanes of Battye Street usually gets transformed into a one way street, before and after the game.
On the southern side of the street is the Head Quarters for the Southern Region of the NSW Rugby League, as well as one of the biggest campuses of the Canberra Institute of Technology, a technical college. On the northern side of the street is C1, one of Canberra's biggest data centres, as well as Proximity, which is a low-rise apartment complex with has some mixed use business on ground-level. These fifty or so residential units on Battye Street were built around 2008, and are mostly one and two-bedroom units.
