Looking at moving to Beachmere from Sydney - do we or don't we. What is the suburb like?

I like Beachmere - some great acreages out of the township. It is only 15 mins to the train line in Caboolture and trains run every half hour or more to the city. It is a place where there is a lot of community involvement and sporting activities

We holidayed there for a number of years, there are a few nice homes on the waterfront, particularly around Bayside Drive but otherwise it is pretty much working class. I would choose Redcliffe or Shorncliffe over Beachmere and they are closer suburbs to Brisbane CBD
