"Best of Beechboro"

I immigrated from the Uk in 1997 with my four children. There are wonderful facilities, beautiful park, library, sport centre and swimming pool. For food shopping within 500 metres of me there is Coles, Woolworths, IGA, Aldi, Benara fresh, MCQ and numerous small speciality shops. kFC in Beechboro is known to be one of Perth’s best. It is 20 minutes to Midland hospital in one direction, 25 minutes to the beach in the other and all the wines and gastronomy of the Swan Valley on the door step.

"Not too bad but dodgy folks all around"

I’ve been living here for 14 years, got robbed once, maybe it could’ve happened in a different suburb tho, idk. Seen a lot of dodgy people throughout the years. The dodginess can vary depending on the street you live in, some can be really dodgy, some can be pretty good. If you keep to yourself and take caution when you’re out on the streets or in the shopping centre, 99% of the time, nothing will happen. Keeping up with neighbourhood watch groups on FB is a good way to know what’s going on. There are also some nice and friendly people here. Overall not too bad but it still is a lower-middle class suburb

"Average suburb, keep looking."

Owned and lived in Beechboro for many years in a cul de sac. Lots of antisocial behaviour day and nighy. Lots of alley ways that act as a corridor for trouble. Lots of homes west houses. Breaks ins night and day, they come through the roof. A neighbour was stabbed in a home invasion. Noisy at night (people, sirens, reid/roe hwy). Expect to be hassled at shopping centre. Not family friendly, not safe.

Rentals in Beechboro

"Good suburb for price - but depends who your neighbours are....."

Beechboro is a very multicultural suburb with some lovely pockets then some pretty average ones too. There are lots of great people who care for their suburb, homes and the people in it, but there is state housing throughout and its pretty cheap to buy into which is synonomous to high rentals. To be fair I have never lived in Beechboro per se, however I have spent a lot of time there with family who live there and they love it but they are in a great street with families, but around the corner is a different story...
Access to Perth is stop start via Beaufort Rd or Alexander Drive and the train is not real close either (Bassendean)
The local high school is Lockridge which is renouned for poor academic performance so consider paying school fees if academia is high on your agenda.
Drive through the suburb, pop into the local shops and you might feel the urge to up your budget to Noranda.....

"many family area with all nationalities living in area"

Beechboro has a vast array of cultures, nationalities and religions. With a large range of parks and playgroups for children with a large rec centre with pool facilities, indoor court facilities, gym and library. 2 large shopping centres with a 3rd being built. Central locations which is accesable by being surrounded by main roads and highways. 20 km from CBD. Beechboro is the kind of place you move to and never leave. On the verge of the swan vally with many winerys and fresh produce on roadside stalls. Beechboro is only a short trip to the Malaga markets which has a variety of specialty stores.
