Reviews of Bells Line of Road, Kurmond
"Great for a holiday!"
Nice wide open spaces with lots of fresh air, perfect for a weekend away or a holiday. However to live there is a different story. We found the community to be a very closed one not very accepting of new residents. The road is quite treacherous with accidents happening very frequently. Heavy duty trucks make use of this road right through the night, right through the week so there is always noise. In our experience, criminals find the open areas very inviting to hide in, we have had the police on our property at 2am in the morning looking for car thieves that ran away from the vehicle they had stolen and then crashed nearby. We have also had strangers stopping their vehicles at the top of the property and then just strolling around on the property then leaving after disposing of their litter where they parked. We have had to deal with infestations of redback spiders as well as plenty of funnel web spiders. We also started finding that with the increased cost of fuel, it was getting to be an extremely expensive commute each day. We are actually quite relieved to be back in suburbia and will definitely look at going to country areas such as this on holiday.
