When we first moved , about 5 years ago , after living in the Eastern suburbs all my life , I could not believe why we had not moved here far earlier.
This suburb is stunning, all the numbers are friendly, beautiful homes, safe suburb, close to so many parks and Golf Courses, but the amazing part of this suburb is the stunning Black Rock and Half Moon Bay Beaches.Almost forgot the village feel shopping centre, has around 30 restaurants and eating places.Its like living in a Country Village next to the Beach , but so close to Melbourne.Forget all about Brighton, Black Rock is so superior in all way

The area sites amongst excellent schools,restaurants with plenty of cafes on your door step. Cycling and outdoor activities are the go with numerous triathlon, cycling and running events occurring year round.

I've lived in Black Rock for over 15 years. In that time I've established great friendships and I feel a real part of a community. Its a place where people know you without snooping into your business. Terrific for kids, great parks, sporting facilities and lets not forget the beach, If you're into fitness and a good healthy lifestyle this is the place to be.

Fabulous place to bring up a family, great beaches, parks, cafes and walking/running tracks and still close enough to city for working.

Where everyone seems to know everyone. Walk down the street and people wave and say hello. You always bump into someone you know. Great to smell the bay and hear the water dancing on the beach. Lots of kids and families - really good community spirit and getting better all the time. Great local shops which are also always striving to do better - we even have our own micro-brewery now. Great cafe society with the bike riders stopping in for a quick coffee and a chat.

Nice place with great access to the beach. Nice and close to the city without being overly crowded.
