Hi there, we are looking at moving from Sydney to Bowral for lifestyle change and start a family.
Bowral, NSW 2576 is located within the Wingecarribee local government area, part of the Illawarra Region in New South Wales.
What are the pros and cons of living in Bowral? Are jobs hard to find and is the schooling good? Is it a clickie town or easy to meet people? Thanks!

We moved here a year ago and adore it. I have my own business and travel a fair bit - express train to Sydney is a productive joy.
People are generally very happy to live here, kids are polite, facilities are excellent for a country town - even a couple of breweries here (soon to be 3) so definitively civilised.
Perfect for tele- commuters, not sure if recommend daily commutes. Big bang for buck on real estate (relatively) .
Mossie & Mitta ok, something very special about Bowral though.
