Where is the closest senior citizens club to Bridgeman Downs?

Aspley Classes for Seniors conduct classes at the Aspley Uniting Church and The Church of the Resurrection in Ridley Road for people aged 50 years and over.

Most classes run for four seven-week terms each year, coinciding with the four school terms.

The usual cost is $20.00 per term, although a few classes are $30.00. Casual attendance at an individual class is $4.00 per session if space is available.

The classes are many and varied, and courses can change from term to term. The program includes:
•ART, CRAFT AND MUSIC (Greeting Cards, Singing for Pleasure , Water Colours);
•COMPUTERS
•LANGUAGES, HISTORY, POETRY, READING AND WRITING (French, German, Italian, Russian, Ancient History, Poetry Study and Appreciation, What are you reading?, Writing for Pleasure);
•GAMES AND EXERCISE (Indoor Bowls, Line-Dancing, Mah Jong); and
• NEEDLEWORK (Crocheting and Knitting, Tapestry).
•THURSDAY LECTURE SERIES: Each week during the four terms there is a quality lecture from 11.00 am to 12 noon at Aspley Uniting Church.
