There is Decker Park near the Hornibrook Bridge, good space for children to have fun on the playground, or take your dog into the dog area, or walk under the bridge to the others side where you can collect shells, stroll along the beachfront. There are several parks dotted along the beachfront from Brighton to Shorncliffe. There are also some small playgrounds within Brighton. Sandgate has a two lagoons, both you can take walks around, one in the middle of Sandgate has an enclosed playground as well as many birds and a bridge, right near Woolworths and bakery etc. There is also another lagoon off of Baskerville Street Brighton that you can go into and walk around to see birds etc.
